Jazzmeia Horn is the current great revelation of jazz (vocals and more)! Awarded this year by the Jazz Times critics as “Best New Artist” and as “Up and Coming Musician of the Year” by the Jazz Journalists Association, having also been named for a Grammy®. The rise of this new jazz star couldn't have been more dizzying: in 2013, Jazzmeia Horn competed in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and won 1st place; in 2015, she competes in the Thelonious Monk International Competition and is equally victorious; following this achievement, he recorded the album Social Call for Prestige / Concord, which was immediately nominated for a Grammy® for best jazz vocal album.
